I have a question maybe someone can answer for me. My husband and I have a lot of comp points for food, can you use your points for tipping or is that a no no? Also, we would like to eat at the restaurant 32, since we have never been there, and after looking at the menu, the portion size looks large, do they let you share a meal, I hate to waste food? I also was wondering, since it is our birthdays in april and hard rock gives you a free buffet, does it matter if you go for lunch or dinner and does it included fridays seafood buffet. Maybe someone can get back to me.....BQ

We had lunch there about 2 years ago and they had a lunch special for $8-9 that was very good. We went back on our most recent trip to the Beau the beginning of Feb. and the average lunch is now $17 plus drink and tip. The Beau lunch buffet is a better deal.

Palace Buffet Thoughts?

Has anyone eaten here lately? I don't recall the lunch price but I enjoyed the food last trip in October. However, I didn't learn about all the slections until my wife and I left when she told me some entree items were in the salad section. What is the lunch price btw?

Local Seafood - Best Choice?

I think BK mentioned fresh, hot, fried oysters and now I cant get my mind off of it, LOL Just wondering if anybody has any favorite seafood places in the Biloxi area (we wont have a rental car) so walking distance from the Beau would be to our advantage. Or a reasonable cab fare, or even using the shuttle to make it worth it to visit an outstanding seafood place. Not so much into the fancy when it comes to seafood, down here we call them "fish camps", so if anybody can recommend just a good down home place to enjoy a seafood platter, please bring it on! Ive picked up tips about weekend buffets that have Seafood, but we will be there during the week. Any thoughts?

As reported by the Las Vegas Advisor:

The Gulf Coast branch of chef Todd English's restaurant shut down Sunday. The resort's president, George Corchis, said the economy had forced some difficult choices upon Beau Rivage and closing Olives was among them. The Las Vegas Olives, at Bellagio remains open.

If you are a BBQ lover, then "The Shed"..BBQ & blues joint in Ocean Springs, Miss. will be a very memorable trip of nostalgia for you. It is located 1000 yards north of I-10, across from a Shell station, at exit number 57. The secondary highway number escapes me. Or mile marker 57 on I-10. If you are not sure, all you have to do is stop and ask, everybody knows the place. They are open Wednesday-Sunday 11am until 9pm. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday for resting and dumpster diving. The Shed is not a fancy restaurant by any means. It is an experience. People that eat there are called "shed heads". Shed heads go alone, couples, or bring their families, sit by the bonfires, eat inside on picnic tables, wipe their mouths on the numerous rolls of paper towels that sit randomly everywhere. license tags and dollar bills adorn the walls and roof. handwritten clichés are everywhere. We actually went to the Palace to burn some comps and Mignon's was to be tried. Opens at five and we arrived at the bar in front of the restaurant at ten till. Wifey gets an Orange Crush Martini. Half price happy hour! A three dollar martini that sweetie adores. Nothing for me thank you I'm a driving home tonight. The bar menu is touting gulf coast oysters any way you want them.

I NEED a couple dozen raw! I see many preparations that look delish but I NEED em raw! Maître d'says they only offer oysters at the bar. I said I see no oyster bar so where are they shucked?
