Went to Island View Oct 17-19. Had a great time; I think the best trip we've had in a LONG time. Can't say we had big wins, but lots of little wins. You guys know we play min. slots; I won $70 playing 30 cents a pop on some hot hot slot machine. It was giving me 360 times every spin on the bonus; and it re-triggered in the bonus. I had put 60 cents in when that happened. 60 cent investment for $70? I call that winning! Hubby always wins on Dean Martin; I now know by heart that song Dean sings during every bonus - 30 cents turned into $50. Tried Sirens, Pegasus, Goldfish, etc. Could not make anything happen on those. Hey, those Dracula-type machines - Count Money, I think - I hit BIG on those. I got these mystery wilds and they went EVERYWHERE on the screen. Won $100 on those things, and only was playing 25 cents a pop when that happened. Fun!!! Also kept winning on Fairy's fortune - lots of little hits, but alot of fun.
Island View rooms are great. Loved staying there. Would stay every time if I could. Also won on some triple 7's penny machine. Around $60. Was playing max 45 cents. Woo-hoo, I'm such a high-roller. LOL
Went to IP, but could do nothing there. Have they tightened up the slots? Ugh. Used to be my favorite place to stay, but if the machines aren't hitting, I'm gone.
Tried Hard Rock; haven't been there in quite a while; and I'm telling you guys, I won't be back anytime soon. Too tight.
