You have heard I am sure that the Democratic Party is now proposing to tax our insurance benefits. I understand that is a turn around on what was said during campaigning for president. This is what the newspaper said, I didn't hear anyone say they were not going to tax benefits I am just repeating what the AJC said. No I could not find the article to back what I am saying up if my life depended on it. I need to start writing stuff like that down or cutting the articles out when I see them.

I have heard two different people making statements that something like 5% of the people are using up over half the money for health care. One was President Obama in his speech this past Monday I think it was. I guess when you are 35 or 40 years old it's OK to put someone out to pasture, they just do not realize how quickly 65 or 70 or even 75 years old gets here.

We won't be here to see it but we can take some satisfaction in knowing that a bunch of people that are supporting this kind of legislation will be told some day. "Sorry comrade, for the good of the people you are too old for this type of treatment"
