So if you want a free-roll chance at being a Millionaire, the phone number is 1-800-999-7878. The lines are open from at least 6 central to midnight central. I haven't called any earlier or any later.
Here is how it works:
You call the number and will be asked to put in your birthday info and the last 4 digits of you SS number. This gives you a unique contestant number.
After that, you will be asked to answer 5 questions. The questions will always be "put these 4 items in the correct order" type questions. Sometimes they ask you to put 4 words in the correct order to form a common phrase. Sometimes it is geography oriented such as put these four states in order from West to East starting with the West. Sometimes it is pop culture like put these Movies in order of their release starting with the Earliest. There are a lot of different things (that is why they call you trivia) they can ask. I was doing good until my 5th question Wednsday night and they asked me about the parts of a violin.
If you do get all five questions right, they will ask for some contact info and put you into the contestant pool. A computer will then randomly select people for the show out of that pool
A fairly well known singer from here in Meridian ( Steve Forbert) has a song I love. It is called...

YOU CANNOT WIN IF YOU DO NOT PLAY
The phone game will be in operation for 8 more nights. One thing you might consider is doing a practice round with a different birthday or SS # before you do
your real round with your own data. That will give you an idea of how it goes. Most everyone uses a pen and paper to write down the four choices for each
question. You have 10 seconds to put them in order once he finishes reading them.
GOOD LUCK!
